Milia was begun in 1990 by people with roots in the area who restored ancestoral ruins and began reforesting the area. The Milia philosophy is, “to preserve the natural life cycle in such a way that is friendly towards the environment and the human being.”
Staying in one of the thirteen unique rooms is like going back in time; with the stone walls, wood stove or fireplace, candles and handwoven blankets.
