Ecuadorian President, Rafael Correa has decreed that the Galapagos Islands are “at risk”.     Now would be the time to go, if you want to see The Galapagos Islands. Everyone I know thinks that they will be the first major destination to severely limit tourism for eco-reasons. Tourism has been a great financial boon to the island..but it is a fragile place and they will have to backtrack in order to save it.
