Balamku is a small hotel that focuses on ecotourism and intimate surroundings. The name, Balamku, means home of the jaguar and the hotel is located in the southern area of the Yucatan Penninsula. All of the energy needed to run the hotel is generated by solar panels and wind generation. Water conservation is a high priority as is ecofriendly waste management practices and preserving the natural environment.
